Prompt: Write about a time when you were judged unfairly.

 When I first joined a club lacrosse team, a lot of the players assumed I wasn’t very good because they hadn’t seen me play before. I could tell by the way they didn’t pass to me at practice or gave me looks when I messed up once. But I stayed focused, worked hard, and gave it my all every drill, every scrimmage. Eventually, I earned their respect by showing my skill on the field, and now I’m one of the starters.
