In “The Interlopers” by Saki, Ulrich and Georg view each other as interlopers, outsiders intruding on their land and their lives. Think about a time when you felt like an interloper or when someone else felt out of place in your world. How did that situation affect relationships, emotions, or outcomes?
One time I felt like an interloper was when I moved to a new school and didn’t know anyone. Everyone already had their own friend groups, and I felt like I didn’t belong. At first, it made me feel isolated and nervous to talk to people. Over time, though, one person reached out, and that small act helped me slowly build real friendships.
